Job Responsibilities
Manage and perform strategic sourcing activities to mitigate risk and optimise the value and resilience of materials and services sourcing
Establish supplier relationship management processes and drive continuous improvement goals and programs
Negotiate contracts and coordinate supplier integration plans in partnership with internal clients
Monitor market dynamics impacting materials and services availability and pricing
Partner with internal clients to identify sourcing needs, develop buyer and profile strategies, identify marketplace trends, and define acceptable service levels
Manage supplier relationships across multiple categories, including IT, raw materials, and professional services
Operate as an individual contributor while overseeing global and regional sourcing scope
Job Requirements
Proven experience in a senior procurement or strategic sourcing role, ideally at Head of Procurement or equivalent level
Strong background in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation
Experience managing sourcing across multiple categories, including IT and raw materials
Familiarity with global and regional sourcing operations
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to monitor market trends and pricing dynamics
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with internal clients
Relevant tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while influencing broader business outcomes
