With a diverse portfolio of business lines, spanning airline operations, aircraft maintenance, a flying school, a training centre, and a private airport, this organisation has grown significantly since its founding and is now entering an exciting new phase. Job Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all lines of business across the organisation, including airline operations, maintenance, flying school, training centre, and private airport
Assess current operational processes across all business units and identify inefficiencies and gaps
Design and implement scalable, structured business processes to support the company's continued growth
Lead the organisation's transition from a traditional growth model to a more process-driven, professionally structured operation
Liaise with international suppliers, including aircraft manufacturers and engine and spare parts providers
Travel regularly to remote operational bases across Indonesia, including Papua and Kalimantan, as well as internationally to meet key suppliers
Report directly to and collaborate with the Owner / Managing Director, contributing independently to strategic discussions and decision-making
Job Requirements
Proven experience in a senior operations leadership role, ideally at Director level or equivalent
Background in industries such as logistics, export/import, or industrial equipment — candidates from within the aviation industry will not be considered for this role
Experience working within large or multinational organisations, with a strong understanding of structured processes, systems, and best practices
Demonstrated ability to review, redesign, and implement operational processes within growing or complex organisations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple business lines simultaneously across a geographically dispersed organisation
Confident, independent thinker who is willing to respectfully challenge senior leadership and contribute meaningfully to strategy
Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia; Mandarin Chinese is an advantage
Willingness and ability to travel approximately one week per month, including to remote areas of Indonesia and internationally
Non-smoker and non-vaper — this is a firm requirement of the company
