Job Responsibilities
Design, develop and optimise water treatment processes including physical, chemical and biological treatment systems
Lead process engineering studies, feasibility assessments and technical evaluations for new and existing projects
Prepare and review process engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment datasheets
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior process engineers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project management, procurement and construction
Monitor and troubleshoot operational performance of water treatment facilities
Ensure all designs and processes comply with relevant regulatory standards and environmental requirements
Liaise with clients, contractors and vendors on technical matters throughout project lifecycles
Support commissioning, start-up and performance testing of water treatment plants
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 8 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on water and/or wastewater treatment
Proven experience with treatment technologies such as MBR, RO, DAF, coagulation/flocculation, and biological treatment systems
Proficiency in process simulation tools and engineering software
Strong understanding of Indonesian environmental regulations and industry standards
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage engineering deliverables
Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a strong advantage
Experience working on EPC or consultancy projects within the water sector is preferred
