Job Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all technical operations within the packaging manufacturing facility
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff to ensure consistent performance and development
Develop and implement technical strategies to improve production efficiency and product quality
Manage the maintenance and optimisation of machinery and equipment
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and R&D to drive continuous improvement
Identify and resolve technical issues, minimising downtime and production disruptions
Manage technical budgets, including capital expenditure planning
Evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to enhance operational performance
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and availability of technical resources
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical or engineering role, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity
Proven experience within the packaging industry or a related manufacturing sector
Strong knowledge of packaging materials, machinery, and production processes
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams effectively
Solid understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO standards)
Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
Proficient in technical problem-solving and root cause analysis
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
Familiarity with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and best practices
