Job Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation and Publication
   - Produce and deliver content across the University's channels.
   - Work with technology partners to ensure publication activities are met in a timely fashion.
   - Maintain and publish guidelines for digital content publication.
   - Develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the University's goals and objectives.
   - Monitor and analyse the performance of published content using analytics tools to optimise content.
   - Oversee the creation of multimedia content (such as videos, infographics, and interactive content) to enhance the University's digital presence and engagement.
   - Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and tone across all digital platforms and content types, adhering to the University's brand guidelines.
   - Establish and enforce content governance policies and procedures to maintain quality, accuracy, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

2. Collaboration and Communication
   - Work with stakeholders to identify and document digital content requirements.
   - Collaborate with other departments, such as IT, Communications, Academic departments, and Alumni relations, to ensure alignment and synergy in digital marketing efforts.
   - Provide training and support to staff members on content management systems (CMS) and digital content best practices to empower them to effectively contribute to content creation and publishing.

3. Performance and Optimisation
   - Monitor and analyse the performance of published content using analytics tools to optimise content for the required audience.
   - Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and content management, and integrate them into strategies and initiatives as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

- A tertiary qualification in Marketing or a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience and training.
- Relevant content experience in a corporate or commercial web publishing environment. Familiarity with the Adobe platform would be favourable.
- Experience and demonstrated success in the implementation of digital marketing activities, web analytics, WC3 standards, user journeys, and mapping business needs to website design.
- Experience in using content management systems and associated digital media production software.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, meet deadlines, and complete duties effectively.
- A high level of interpersonal and oral and written communication skills, including the ability to follow established protocol and exercise initiative, and to work effectively in an editorial capacity with subject matter experts from a wide range of professional interests and backgrounds.
