Our client, a well-established metals trading company based in Jakarta, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join their growing organization. Job Responsibilities
• Oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, tax compliance, and financial reporting
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian accounting standards
• Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support business growth
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to optimize liquidity
• Coordinate external and internal audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support commodity trading decisions and risk management
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and professional growth
• Collaborate with operations and commercial teams on pricing, margin analysis, and profitability optimization
• Support business development initiatives through financial due diligence and modeling
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Prior experience in commodities trading, metals sector, or related industries is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, accounting standards (PSAK), and financial compliance
• Proven expertise in financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Advanced proficiency in financial systems and ERP software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment and manage multiple priorities
