We are working with a well-established multinational FMCG company in Indonesia to find a talented and driven Trade Marketing Manager to join their Sales & Marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced trade marketing professional to take ownership of a dynamic role, leading Modern Market and E-Commerce channel activities while making a real impact on in-market performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive in-market sales achievement and growth across Modern Market and E-Commerce channels
- Conduct data analysis and provide progressive updates using internal and external data sources (e.g. AC Nielsen, Kantar, Scanned Sales Data, Euromonitor)
- Produce competition analysis related to shoppers, categories, customers and channels for management review
- Translate marketing plans into customer marketing actions and track key business metrics and KPIs
- Develop trade and activation programmes, including strategic planning and operation of trade events and sampling activities with pre and post event evaluation
- Manage Trade Budget investment (A&P) and maintain accurate records of promotional spend and supplier payments
- Work with the Distributor to manage e-commerce flagship stores and execute e-commerce marketing programmes
- Develop and manage end-to-end launch plans for new product development (NPD) to drive route-to-market
- Support the sales team in building and strengthening relationships with key Modern Market and E-Commerce accounts
- Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities, gather market intelligence, and provide actionable recommendations
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant FMCG experience with a Trade Marketing background, inclusive of sales experience
- Experience from a leading MNC food company is preferred
- Experience in events management and working with distributors is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong leadership capabilities
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
- Self-motivated, independent and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Outlook, and video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams)
