Our client is a leading engineering consultancy firm specializing in innovative and sustainable solutions across various industries. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager for their Fit Out Division. The successful candidate will have commercial responsibility, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and strong leadership skills.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage fit out projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met according to client specifications and company standards.

  • Oversee budget management, cost control, and financial performance of projects. Ensure profitability and financial success through effective commercial strategies.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand client needs and expectations, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.

  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Ensure team members are aligned with project goals and company values.

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain high standards of quality across all project phases. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality benchmarks.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, specifically within the fit out or construction industry.

  • Proven commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

  • PMP certification is a plus.
