Our client, a leading international manufacturer of high-performance industrial products, is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to join their team in Jakarta Selatan. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional who thrives in field-based selling and is passionate about building new business relationships across the Jabodetabek region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Spend majority of working hours conducting face-to-face client meetings and prospect visits across designated territories

  • Drive sales and marketing activities throughout Jabodetabek and surrounding areas

  • Promote high-performance industrial products to OEMs, end users, and distributors

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through cold calling, field visits, and product demonstrations

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding client needs and proposing tailored solutions

  • Provide technical advisory services, application support, and on-site equipment demonstrations

  • Prepare accurate quotations, manage pricing discussions, and support negotiations to close deals

  • Submit weekly reports on sales activities, leads, and pipeline status in CRM system

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial equipment sales (B2B/B2C)

  • Proven "hunter" mentality with a successful track record in new business development

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related technical field

  • Experience working with customers in construction, oil & gas, or manufacturing sectors (preferred)

  • Strong customer intelligence and ability to quickly identify decision-makers

  • Excellent networking, cold calling, and appointment-setting skills

  • Self-motivated, independent, and driven to meet sales targets

  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and Microsoft Teams

  • Valid driving license and own vehicle (frequent travel required)

  • Fluent in English
