Our client, a leading FMCG company, is seeking a dynamic Assistant Channel Manager to drive channel performance and business growth in Indonesia's food service sector. Job Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new potential customers to achieve sales and market share targets
- Plan and execute sales and marketing programs while monitoring cost effectiveness
- Coordinate activities to maximize territory and channel coverage growth
- Work with distributor and sub-distributor sales teams to ensure execution excellence
- Build and strengthen relationships with key food service and industrial customers
- Deliver accurate sales volume forecasting from territory perspective
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence reports
- Manage key accounts with healthy cost of doing business principles
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams for campaign execution
- Work with culinary and technical teams to drive product trials and menu applications
- Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and industry developments
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary/Hospitality or related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in FMCG
- Experience in Food Service (Restaurant) and/or Industrial Channel (Manufacturing)
- Strong presentation skills and high self-confidence level
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in local language and English
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Self-motivated and determined to succeed in challenging environments
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Pragmatic, ethical approach with entrepreneurial interest
