Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize electrical power systems including generation, transmission, and distribution networks
- Conduct power system studies including load flow, short circuit analysis, and protective relay coordination
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical installations
- Perform site inspections and commissioning activities for power plant equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical system issues in collaboration with operations teams
- Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors
- Review and approve vendor proposals and technical submittals related to power systems equipment
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in power systems engineering, preferably in power generation or industrial facilities
- Strong knowledge of power system analysis software (ETAP, PSCAD, or similar)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design tools
- Thorough understanding of IEC, IEEE, and local Indonesian electrical standards
- Experience with high voltage equipment including transformers, switchgear, and protection systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is advantageous
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
