Select Headhunter is partnering with a leading FMCG company to identify an experienced National Sales Manager for their operations in Jakarta. This is an excellent opportunity to lead sales strategy and drive commercial growth across Indonesia's dynamic fast-moving consumer goods market.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive national sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across multiple regions

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, distributors, and modern trade channels

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities

  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment on business goals

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary

  • Manage sales budgets, forecasts, and P&L responsibilities for the sales function

  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with major customers and distribution partners

  • Drive new product launches and promotional campaigns across all sales channels

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, trade regulations, and ethical business practices

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred

  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive sales experience in the FMCG sector

  • At least 5 years in a senior sales leadership role managing national teams

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in competitive markets

  • Deep understanding of Indonesian retail landscape, including modern trade and traditional channels

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with ability to inspire and develop teams

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities

  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities

  • Proficiency in sales analytics, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite

  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential

  • Willingness to travel extensively across Indonesia
