Our client, a leading Internet Service Provider in Jakarta, is seeking an experienced Head of Accounting to lead their finance function. Job Responsibilities
• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK), and regulatory requirements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analysis for senior management and stakeholders
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and high performance
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance against budgets and forecasts
• Support business planning through financial modeling, variance analysis, and recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business decisions
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, CA, ACCA) preferred
• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (PSAK), tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Previous experience in telecommunications, Internet service provider, or technology sector highly advantageous
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit management
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing accounting teams
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
