Our client, a respected leader in Indonesia's fisheries sector, is seeking an experienced Head of Estate to oversee their operations in Maluku. This role offers the opportunity to lead estate management in one of the country's most strategically important fishing regions, where sustainable aquaculture and modern fisheries infrastructure are key to continued growth. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence across all estate facilities while contributing to the long-term success of the business.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee the complete management and operations of estate facilities across the Maluku region
Develop and implement estate master plans aligned with business objectives and expansion strategies
Manage infrastructure maintenance, development projects, and capital expenditure budgets
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and fisheries industry requirements
Lead and develop a multidisciplinary estate management team including maintenance, security, and facilities personnel
Coordinate with operations, production, and logistics teams to optimize estate utilization
Manage relationships with local authorities, communities, and external contractors
Implement health, safety, and environmental protocols across all estate operations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
Prepare regular reports on estate performance, maintenance schedules, and capital projects
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Estate Management, Engineering, Agriculture, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of progressive estate management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven experience in the fisheries, aquaculture, plantation, or agribusiness sectors
Strong understanding of infrastructure maintenance, facilities management, and capital project delivery
Knowledge of Indonesian environmental regulations and land management compliance requirements
Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and multi-site operations
Excellent budget management and financial planning skills
Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
Willingness to be based in Maluku with regular travel to estate locations
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken)
