Our client, a leading palm oil company based in Riau, is seeking an experienced Head of Operations - Supply Chain & Procurement to drive operational excellence across their supply chain network. Job Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that optimize cost, efficiency, and service levels
Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure quality and timely delivery
Lead procurement activities for raw materials, equipment, and services while ensuring compliance with company policies
Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory management systems
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce waste
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, sustainability standards, and company quality requirements
Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain and procurement team
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain and procurement management
At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the palm oil, plantation, or FMCG industry
Proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations and large-scale procurement activities
Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, procurement strategies, and logistics management
Experience with ERP systems and supply chain management software
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Willingness to be based in Riau
