Select Headhunter is pleased to partner with a leading agribusiness organization in Riau to identify an experienced Head of Sales for their Fertilizers, Herbicides, and Seedling division. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic sales team within Indonesia's expanding agricultural sector, driving commercial growth while building lasting relationships with key stakeholders across the region.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across fertilizers, herbicides, and seedling product lines

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the regional sales team to maximize performance and productivity

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, retailers, and agricultural cooperatives

  • Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base throughout Riau and surrounding regions

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making

  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure alignment

  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8-10 years of sales experience in the agricultural input industry, specifically fertilizers, herbicides, or seedlings

  • At least 3-5 years in a senior sales leadership role managing teams

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the agricultural sector

  • Strong understanding of Riau's agricultural landscape and distribution networks

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is an advantage

  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the region

  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
