Our client, a rapidly growing e-commerce company in Jakarta, is seeking an experienced Hub Area Manager to lead their logistics operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic operations professional to drive efficiency and performance across multiple hub locations while playing a key role in the company's continued expansion.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational KPIs and align with company objectives
• Manage tactical hub planning including resource allocation (manpower, equipment, space) based on volume fluctuations
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures and processes for hub operations
• Analyze current operations and propose improvements to enhance overall hub performance
• Oversee daily operations to meet service level agreements and ensure policy compliance
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve operational challenges across assigned hub areas
• Monitor and report on hub performance metrics including service quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost
• Manage, develop, and mentor operational teams including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and coaching
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to ensure seamless operational execution
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Hub Area Manager in logistics or e-commerce industry
• Strong knowledge of vendor management and project management
• Proven experience in inventory management systems and processes
• Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and changing priorities in fast-paced environments
• Results-oriented mindset with strong achievement drive
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
• Proactive, flexible, and positive approach to problem-solving
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays when required
