Select Headhunter is partnering with a leading FMCG client to recruit a Product Manager to lead brand and category growth in Indonesia. This role sits within the Marketing function and will own the end-to-end marketing strategy for the brand at country level, driving campaigns, product innovation and commercial performance while working closely with regional teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and execute brand positioning and long-term brand plans aligned to target consumer needs.

  • Plan, implement and evaluate ATL, BTL, digital and PR campaigns to drive brand awareness and demand.

  • Develop annual strategic plans and growth reports to meet brand and category objectives.

  • Monitor and analyse brand health, category performance, market share, pricing and product data; prepare management reports and actionable recommendations.

  • Manage A&P budgets, allocate ATL/BTL funds, and monitor campaign ROI in coordination with Finance and regional marketing.

  • Identify product development and portfolio expansion opportunities; partner with R&D, Supply Chain and Sales for successful product launches.

  • Use consumer and market insights to optimise marketing strategies and competitive positioning.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Trade Marketing, Digital and external agencies; ensure local execution is aligned with regional/global toolkits and campaigns.

  • Lead, coach and develop junior marketing staff (e.g., Brand Executive, Assistant Brand Manager).

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; MBA is an advantage.

  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably in FMCG; experience managing sauce/condiment categories is a plus.

  • Proven track record leading major campaigns, new product launches and ATL brand awareness activities.

  • Experience in ecommerce marketing is desirable.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills across levels; multilingual ability (English and local language) preferred.

  • Analytical, action-oriented, self-motivated and disciplined with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel overseas when required.

  • Basic knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
