Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage the R&D team in developing new chemical formulations and improving existing products
Design and execute research projects aligned with company strategic objectives and market demands
Oversee laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and commercial teams to facilitate smooth product launches
Manage R&D budget, resources, and timelines effectively to meet project deliverables
Establish and maintain relationships with external research institutions, suppliers, and industry partners
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify innovation opportunities
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for management and regulatory bodies
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance R&D efficiency and effectiveness
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in R&D within the chemical industry, with at least 3 years in a management role
Proven track record of successfully developing and commercializing chemical products
Strong knowledge of chemical synthesis, formulation development, and analytical techniques
Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical teams
Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards in chemical manufacturing
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and with external stakeholders
