Our client, a premium island resort in Indonesia's stunning Mentawai Islands, is seeking an experienced Resort General Manager to lead their operations. Job Responsibilities
Oversee all daily resort operations ensuring exceptional guest experiences
Manage and lead a diverse team of 60-70 staff members across all departments
Direct 5-7 Heads of Department including Resort Manager, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Sales & Marketing
Maintain high operational standards across accommodation, dining, and guest services
Develop and implement strategies to optimize revenue and occupancy rates
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Foster a positive workplace culture and staff development programs
Build strong relationships with international clientele and manage guest feedback
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar senior role in resort or luxury hospitality
Strong leadership skills
Excellent command of English (essential for communicating with international guests from America, Australia, and Europe)
Financial acumen with experience in budget management and revenue optimization
Outstanding interpersonal and guest relations skills
Ability to thrive in a remote, island-based environment
Hospitality management qualification preferred
Flexibility and problem-solving capabilities in a dynamic resort setting
