Our client, a leading industrial equipment manufacturer, is seeking an exceptional Sales General Manager to spearhead their commercial operations across Indonesia. This strategic leadership role offers the opportunity to drive substantial business growth while managing dealer and distributor relationships across seven regions in this dynamic and expanding market.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume targets (700-1000 units per year by 2026)

  • Manage and coach a team of 7 area sales managers overseeing an overall sales organization of approximately 25 team members

  • Build, manage, and optimize relationships with multiple dealers and distributors (3-4 dealer partners), ensuring alignment and performance

  • Lead key account management for major corporate customers and distributors

  • Provide market and competitor analysis, identifying new channel opportunities and hunting for new B2B customers

  • Deliver data-driven presentations and reports to HQ and executive leadership

  • Coordinate across spare parts, product services, and unit sales functions to ensure commercial objectives are met

  • Ensure compliance with company strategy to avoid suppliers from Chinese brands

  • Close the gap in market understanding and dealer channel dynamics that has stalled hiring and growth

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a senior commercial leader with direct sales operations and dealer/distributor relationship management

  • Strategic hunter mentality with deep industry knowledge capable of translating market insight into actionable commercial strategies

  • Experience managing area sales teams and distributor relationships across multiple regions

  • Strong B2B sales background with demonstrated success in expanding market share and developing new channels

  • Ability to drive unit and parts/service revenues across multiple dealer partners

  • Full-time availability with willingness to travel to multiple regions across Indonesia

  • Permanent employment type preferred
