Our client, a multinational engineering consulting firm is looking for a Technical Director. As the Technical Director, you will oversee the strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational excellence of the Civil and Structural Engineering department. You will lead a team of engineers on major projects, ensuring the highest technical standards are met, while driving innovation and continuous improvement. This is a key leadership role, ideal for a senior professional with a strong technical background and proven management capabilities within the civil and structural engineering domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Civil & Structural Engineering division, setting technical standards and ensuring consistent high-quality output.

  • Provide expert technical guidance on large-scale civil and structural engineering projects, including industrial plants, commercial

  • buildings, and infrastructure developments.

  • Oversee the design, analysis, and implementation of engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

  • Manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development.

  • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.

  • Drive technical reviews, audits, and risk assessments to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of all engineering work.

  • Keep abreast of the latest industry developments, technologies, and regulations, implementing best practices across the department.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, contributing to business development and proposal efforts for major engineering contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Extensive experience managing large-scale engineering projects across multiple sectors.

  • Strong understanding of local and international engineering standards and regulations.

  • Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Certification (SKK, SKA) preferred.
